Itqan and QRDI Council Forge Key Partnership to Drive Healthcare Innovation

Doha, Qatar – Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Centre (Itqan), a part of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), has entered into a strategic agreement with the Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council. This collaboration aims to advance healthcare research, development, and innovation (RDI) in Qatar.

The MoU was signed by Eng. Omar Al Ansari, Secretary General of the QRDI Council, and Ali Al Janahi, Acting Assistant Managing Director of HMC, at the recent Web Summit Qatar. Their partnership promises to accelerate the development of innovative healthcare solutions to address key challenges within the nation’s healthcare system.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to enhance RDI policies. They will also launch joint research initiatives that focus on healthcare needs in Qatar. Moreover, this partnership will foster an environment conducive to testing new healthcare technologies. The Itqan Clinical Simulation and Innovation Centre is set to become a hub for collaboration between local and global innovators in the healthcare sector.

Eng. Al Ansari emphasized that this collaboration would position Qatar as a leader in research and innovation. He stated, “QRDI Council is committed to advancing Qatar’s role as a global hub for research, development, and innovation. This partnership will strengthen healthcare systems, fostering innovations that will address critical health challenges.”

Similarly, Al Janahi underscored the importance of the MoU, highlighting how it will integrate cutting-edge research into Qatar’s healthcare system. “This agreement marks a transformative step,” he noted. “Working with QRDI Council, HMC aims to speed up the adoption of advanced healthcare technologies, improving patient care and clinical education.”

This partnership between Itqan and QRDI Council represents a pivotal moment for Qatar’s healthcare future. Both organizations share a vision of developing healthcare solutions that improve quality of life and tackle pressing challenges. As the collaboration progresses, it is expected to contribute significantly to Qatar’s healthcare innovation landscape.

By joining forces, Itqan and QRDI Council are taking important steps to ensure Qatar remains at the forefront of global healthcare innovation.
