Qatar Boosts Women’s Empowerment Through Key Policies

Qatar continues to strengthen women’s empowerment through progressive policies that support their success in different fields. The country showcased these efforts at the 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Minister of Social Development and Family HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi led Qatar’s delegation at the event. She delivered a speech highlighting Qatar’s commitment to advancing women’s roles in society. She emphasized that women’s empowerment remains a top priority for the government.
