Bahrain’s Ministry of Education Launches Framework to Enhance Kindergarten Performance

The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Education and Training Quality Authority, has recently introduced a new framework for reviewing kindergarten performance. This initiative aims to improve early education practices and ensure high-quality care for young children. The session was attended by 155 kindergarten representatives and key officials from both the Ministry and the Authority. During the session, a detailed overview was provided about the framework and its various standards.

Dr. Sana Saeed Al-Haddad, the Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Educational Licensing at the Ministry of Education, emphasized the critical role early education plays in the overall educational system. She noted that the new framework would support the development of a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for children. This, in turn, will enhance the quality of services offered by kindergartens in Bahrain.

Ms. Ismat Jaffar Akbar, the Deputy CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority, also shared insights during the session. She described the framework as a crucial step toward fostering innovation in the education sector. According to her, this initiative is a response to the growing needs of the early education sector in Bahrain. She explained that the framework’s goal is to create a comprehensive and motivating educational environment for children. Additionally, the initiative is considered a pioneering effort in the region, incorporating best international practices in early childhood education.

With this framework, Bahrain is setting a new standard in early education, aligning local practices with global trends. The initiative is designed to continuously improve the quality of education and child care in kindergartens. It also ensures that young learners receive a strong foundation for future academic success.

To summarize, the Ministry of Education and the Education and Training Quality Authority have introduced an essential framework for reviewing kindergarten performance. This initiative will create a stimulating and comprehensive environment for early learners, reflecting global standards in early education. It marks a significant step in enhancing Bahrain’s education system.
