Bahrain’s Ramadan Councils Bring People Together in Unity

Bahrain’s Ramadan councils bring people together in unity, creating a space for discussions, traditions, and social connections. On the first night of Ramadan, Khalifa Al-Dhahrani’s council welcomed a large crowd. Dignitaries, businessmen, politicians, religious leaders, and citizens gathered to celebrate the holy month.

From the moment the doors opened, visitors filled the space. Many came to show their appreciation for Al-Dhahrani’s role in serving the community. His efforts in promoting goodwill and unity have earned him deep respect. Therefore, his gatherings continue to attract a diverse crowd each year.

Sheikh Abdul Latif Al Mahmoud, a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, spoke about the significance of these gatherings. He emphasized that councils play a key role in strengthening social bonds. Moreover, he described them as “schools” that refine personalities and teach valuable life lessons.

Parents, he noted, should encourage their children to attend councils from a young age. These gatherings help children learn respect, hospitality, and the importance of community engagement. By experiencing these traditions early, young people develop strong values. As a result, they grow into responsible members of society.

Similarly, Sheikh Hassan Al Asfour highlighted the role of Ramadan councils in fostering loyalty and patriotism. These meetings, he said, allow people to exchange ideas and stand united for their country. Furthermore, he stressed that Bahrain’s social fabric has always been strong because of such gatherings.

Former Shura Council member and businessman Darwish Al-Mannai agreed, noting that Bahrain has a long history of family councils. These meetings help pass down cultural values from one generation to the next. In addition, he pointed out that Ramadan councils serve as real-life classrooms, teaching loyalty and social responsibility.

Dr. Muwaffaq Al-Dulaimi praised Bahrain’s leadership for fostering an environment where such traditions thrive. He credited the King’s reform project for strengthening the role of councils. Consequently, these gatherings now serve as spaces for cultural exchange, economic discussions, and open dialogue.

Bahrain’s Ramadan councils bring people together in unity, reinforcing traditions that define the nation’s identity. With each passing year, these meetings continue to unite citizens from all walks of life. Ultimately, the values they promote remain essential for a strong and connected society.
