Kuwait Solidarity Follows Deadly Floods in Syria

Kuwait has expressed solidarity with Syria following deadly flooding in the country’s eastern regions. The Kuwait Solidarity statement followed heavy rainfall that reportedly caused deaths, injuries and missing persons.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the statement on Tuesday, November 3. The ministry conveyed sympathy to the Syrian government and people following the disaster. It also extended condolences to families who lost loved ones in the flooding.

Furthermore, the ministry expressed concern for those who sustained injuries during the severe weather. It wished them a speedy recovery and hoped they would receive the necessary care. The statement also acknowledged the difficult circumstances facing families awaiting news about missing relatives.

Kuwait expressed hope that search and rescue teams would locate those still unaccounted for. Their efforts remain important as authorities respond to the consequences of the heavy rainfall. However, the statement did not provide further details about the rescue operations or the affected communities.

The ministry’s message reflects Kuwait Solidarity with Syria during a period of loss and uncertainty. It also communicates support for the families affected by the flooding. Kuwait offered its condolences and recovery wishes without announcing additional assistance or specific relief measures.

The statement concluded with Kuwait’s hope that rescue teams would successfully find the missing people. Meanwhile, the country’s official message underscored its sympathy for Syria and those affected by the disaster.
