Kuwait Defense Minister Meets Turkish And Indian Envoys

Kuwait’s Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah held separate meetings with the ambassadors of Türkiye and India on Monday, focusing on bilateral relations and opportunities to strengthen cooperation.

During his meeting with Türkiye’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Tuba Sonmez, the minister marked the conclusion of her diplomatic mission in the country.

According to Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah thanked Ambassador Sonmez for her efforts during her tenure and praised her role in strengthening relations and cooperation between Kuwait and Türkiye. He also wished her success in her future assignments.

In a separate meeting, the defense minister received India’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Paramita Tripathi.

The two sides reviewed issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between Kuwait and India, reflecting the friendly ties shared by the two countries.
