Kuwait Arrests 10 Suspects In Drug Cases

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has arrested 10 people in seven separate drug-related cases involving the possession of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances intended for trafficking and personal use.

The ministry said officers from the Criminal Security Sector seized around 500 grams of hashish, 20,000 Captagon pills and additional quantities of various narcotic and psychotropic substances during the operations.

Authorities also confiscated precision weighing scales and cash believed to be connected to the suspected illegal activities.

The suspects and the seized items have been referred to the relevant authorities to complete legal procedures.

The Ministry of Interior said it will continue intensive security operations to combat drug trafficking and limit the spread of narcotic and psychotropic substances, adding that the efforts are aimed at protecting society and maintaining public security.
