Kuwait Ambassador Presents Credentials In Turkey

Kuwait has officially appointed its new ambassador to Turkey as he presented his credentials to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a ceremony held at the presidential palace in Ankara.

Mohammad Al-Shabo, Kuwait’s envoy to Ankara, conveyed greetings from Kuwait’s leadership, including the Amir and the Crown Prince, during the meeting with the Turkish president.

According to the Kuwaiti Embassy, discussions during the ceremony touched on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in key sectors such as the economy, healthcare, education, security, and defence industries.

Both sides also reviewed ways to increase official visits and enhance coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest, reflecting what officials described as long-standing friendly ties between the two countries.

Al-Shabo highlighted the depth of Kuwait-Turkey relations, which he said span more than six decades, describing them as stable and steadily growing. He added that there is significant potential to further expand cooperation across various fields.

The presentation of credentials comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between Kuwait and Turkey, with both countries seeking to strengthen their partnership through ongoing dialogue and official exchanges.
