Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi received a copy of the credentials of Maulidah Bwanakheir Hassan, ambassador-designate of Tanzania to the Sultanate, during a meeting in Muscat on Sunday.
The minister welcomed the envoy and expressed hopes for continued progress in relations between Oman and Tanzania, according to the Oman News Agency.
The meeting reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between Gulf states and East African nations, as Oman continues to strengthen ties across trade, investment and regional cooperation routes linked to the Indian Ocean.
Separately, Sayyid Badr also met Alfredo Cesar Martinho, Brazil’s ambassador to Oman, who paid a farewell visit at the end of his diplomatic assignment.
During the meeting, the foreign minister thanked the ambassador for his efforts in supporting relations between Oman and Brazil and wished him success in his future duties.
The two meetings were attended by Ambassador Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi, head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry, alongside officials from both sides.
