BRAVE CF Announces Bantamweight Title Fight in Slovenia

BRAVE Combat Federation has announced an exciting Bantamweight title fight as the co-main event of the upcoming BRAVE CF Championship. The event is set to take place in Slovenia on June 7. Reigning champion Nicholas Hwende from Zimbabwe will defend his title against Serbian challenger Borislav Nikolic.

Champion Nicholas Hwende’s Journey

Nicholas Hwende secured the Bantamweight title by defeating South African fighter Nikosi Ndebele at BRAVE CF 91. This event was held in Bahrain during BRAVE International Fighting Week. Hwende joined BRAVE CF in 2023 with an undefeated record in professional mixed martial arts.

However, he faced a setback after losing to Velimorad Alkhasov at BRAVE CF 71. Nevertheless, he bounced back with three consecutive victories. These wins helped him claim the Bantamweight title and solidified his position as a top contender.

Challenger Borislav Nikolic’s Rise

On the other hand, Borislav Nikolic enters this title fight with three consecutive victories. His most recent win came at BRAVE CF 84 in China. He defeated Chinese star Ikiwibo in the first round.

Earlier, Nikolic also secured a first-round victory against Ali Guliyev at BRAVE CF 74. As a result of these impressive performances, he is now eager to continue his winning streak. His goal is to claim the Bantamweight championship from Hwende.

BRAVE CF’s Global Impact

This title fight marks the third time Slovenia will host a BRAVE CF event. Previously, BRAVE CF set records with its two events held in Ljubljana in 2024. Consequently, the organization continues to expand its presence in the European market.

Additionally, BRAVE CF aims to showcase international mixed martial arts talent alongside local Slovenian fighters. This strategy creates an exciting experience for fans and boosts global viewership.

An Event Not to Miss

With the title on the line and two determined fighters ready to make history, the Bantamweight clash between Nicholas Hwende and Borislav Nikolic promises thrilling action. Fans can look forward to witnessing top-level competition in Slovenia on June 7.
