Kuwait Airport Drone Attack Sparks Massive 58-Hour Firefighting and Security Operation

The Kuwait airport drone attack forced authorities into a massive 58-hour firefighting and security operation. As a result, teams worked nonstop to protect vital infrastructure.

Officials from the Kuwait Fire Force reported that the blaze at Kuwait International Airport’s fuel tanks caused significant material damage. However, no human casualties occurred during the incident.

Moreover, the firefighting effort involved a joint operation between the Fire Force, the Army, the National Guard, and the oil sector. This coordination ensured rapid containment of the massive blaze.

Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib, spokesperson for the Fire Force, said teams responded to 82 unusual reports since the start of the drone aggression. These included direct strikes and fires caused by falling shrapnel.

At the same time, the Kuwaiti Armed Forces monitored and engaged 15 hostile drones in the last 24 hours. Additionally, the Ministry of Interior, supported by Air Defense, intercepted three more drones in national airspace.

Explosive disposal teams handled nine reports of falling shrapnel, increasing total responses to 588 incidents since the attacks began. Authorities urged the public to stay cautious around strange objects and fires.

The Kuwait airport drone attack highlighted the need for constant readiness across all security agencies. Forces remain on high alert, prepared to confront any further threats. They emphasized the protection of lives, property, and national security above all else.

In addition, officials confirmed that the “Ghaith” task force provided support during unstable weather conditions over the past two days. This dual effort showed strong coordination between emergency management and defense units.

Authorities reinforced public safety messages, reminding citizens to report suspicious objects immediately and avoid approaching dangerous areas. They continue to monitor evolving threats closely.

Despite infrastructure damage, the military maintains high readiness and morale. The Kuwait airport drone attack demonstrated the effectiveness of coordinated firefighting and security operations under intense pressure.
