The event saw fierce competition among participants from various governorates, with 15 competitors achieving top rankings.

In the Muharraq Governorate, Hamad Al Sulaiti from Halat Al Salata claimed first place, while the Al Rashdan team dominated the leaderboard by securing second through fifth positions. Meanwhile, in the Southern Governorate, Hussein Mohammed from Damistan demonstrated remarkable performance, sweeping the top four places, while Habib Mohammed Habib from Hamad Town secured the fifth spot.

The Northern Governorate also witnessed a dominant display, with Sayed Abbas from Muqabah securing the top five positions, highlighting his expertise in homing pigeon training and racing. His victory further reinforced the growing competitiveness of the sport in Bahrain.

Mr. Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Kaabi, a board member of the Bahrain Committee for Popular Heritage Sports and Chairman of the Homing Pigeon Committee, praised the dedication of participants and the high level of performance displayed throughout the race. He emphasized the passion and commitment of local pigeon racing enthusiasts, noting that the event reflected the sport’s increasing popularity in the region.

Looking ahead, organizers have announced plans for a new challenge at the conclusion of the 2025 homing pigeon season—a long-distance race spanning 800 km across all Bahraini governorates. This upcoming event is expected to attract even more participants and further strengthen Bahrain’s position in the world of homing pigeon racing.
