Saudi-Ethiopia Cooperation Grows as Leaders Address Regional Stability

Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia have strengthened ties through focused Saudi-Ethiopia cooperation. Moreover, Saudi leaders emphasized regional stability and joint development projects. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali in Addis Ababa. They discussed strategies to expand cooperation across trade, security, and humanitarian sectors.

Prince Faisal highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the Horn of Africa. He also stressed the kingdom’s interest in deepening Saudi-Ethiopia cooperation. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Abiy praised the talks as productive and called for continuous dialogue between the two nations.

The meeting follows an earlier visit to Riyadh by Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister, Gedion Timothewos. This exchange reflects the growing Saudi-Ethiopia cooperation and shared commitment to regional challenges. Furthermore, both sides agreed to strengthen economic and political ties to ensure sustainable development.

Leaders focused on key areas including trade, investment, energy, and infrastructure projects. They also explored humanitarian support, education, and health initiatives. As a result, Saudi-Ethiopia cooperation now covers multiple sectors beyond diplomacy.
