Traditional Kurdish clothing, music, and performances added to the cultural richness, develop the immersive experience for all attendees.

Authorities declared Thursday an official holiday in Halabja to allow families and visitors to fully participate in the celebrations. The festival extends over three days, coinciding with the weekend, ensuring that even more people can join the festivities and celebrate Halabja’s agricultural achievements.

Organizers expect over 300,000 guests this year, surpassing last year’s 285,000 attendees. The festival emphasizes not only agricultural productivity but also community engagement, cultural preservation, and tourism promotion.
