During a meeting in Geneva, Al-Musallam noted that their partnership reflects shared goals of progress and regional stability. He stated that both kingdoms take pride in the steady growth of their cooperation, which continues to serve their national interests.

Furthermore, he stressed that parliamentary cooperation plays a vital role in shaping their political and social dialogue. Through it, both countries exchange experience and promote initiatives that benefit their citizens. Al-Musallam praised Jordan’s support for Arab unity and its firm stance on regional issues.

The meeting occurred during the 151st General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Both delegations discussed ways to boost joint projects and align positions in international forums. They also agreed to increase coordination between Bahrain’s House of Representatives and Jordan’s Senate to strengthen their legislative partnership.

In addition, Al-Musallam applauded the growing number of joint meetings between lawmakers from both sides. He said these meetings highlight the success of parliamentary cooperation and its role in addressing shared challenges. He added that Bahrain continues to expand its diplomatic reach through parliament, fostering bridges of dialogue with many nations.

Meanwhile, Jordanian Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez expressed gratitude for Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability. He emphasized that both countries share a long history of friendship and a joint vision for sustainable growth.

Both leaders agreed that enhanced parliamentary cooperation will further strengthen peace and development across the region. They reaffirmed their determination to continue this partnership, driven by mutual respect and shared aspirations for a stable and prosperous future.
