Bahraini Children Travel to Russia for Artek Camp Experience

Bahraini children travel to Russia to take part in the ninth session of the Artek International Children’s Center. The delegation left Bahrain to join the camp’s three-week program, which combines sports, arts, cultural, and social activities. Participants will also enjoy recreational events designed to encourage personal growth and cultural exchange.

The program includes diverse sports competitions, artistic performances, and cultural workshops. In addition, the children will engage in educational sessions that teach dialogue skills, teamwork, and problem-solving. These activities aim to enhance self-confidence and independence among participants.

Furthermore, the camp offers guided tours across Crimea, allowing attendees to explore its stunning natural landscapes and historical landmarks. These excursions are designed to expand the children’s understanding of different cultures while fostering appreciation for nature and heritage.

The president of the Bahrain-Russia Friendship Society, who leads the delegation, emphasized the camp’s role in empowering young participants. He noted that such international experiences help children learn cooperation, respect for diversity, and adaptability in new environments.

The organizers designed the program to balance structured learning with leisure. Mornings will focus on workshops and training sessions, while afternoons will feature team sports and creative arts. Evenings are reserved for cultural exchange events, where participants from different countries can share traditions, music, and stories.

Bahraini children travel to Russia not only to participate in fun activities but also to gain valuable life skills. The camp encourages them to step outside their comfort zones and interact with peers from around the world. This interaction promotes mutual understanding and lasting friendships.

In addition, the experience aims to prepare them for future leadership roles by instilling responsibility, initiative, and a spirit of community. The blend of recreational activities and skill-building sessions ensures they return with both memorable experiences and practical knowledge.

Bahraini children travel to Russia for Artek Camp as part of a broader cultural exchange initiative between Bahrain and Russia. This collaboration continues to strengthen ties while providing youth with unique opportunities for personal and cultural development.
