Bahraini-US Relations Strengthen Through Growing Partnerships and Diplomatic Cooperation

Bahraini-US relations strengthen as both countries continue to expand diplomatic and economic cooperation. A recent meeting in Manama highlighted the depth and success of this enduring partnership.

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, praised the flourishing ties between Bahrain and the United States. He emphasized that these relations have grown stronger through mutual respect, coordination, and shared interests.

During the meeting, the Chairman welcomed Steven Craig Bundy, U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain, on the occasion of his departure. He thanked the ambassador for his diplomatic efforts to advance collaboration between the two countries.

The Chairman described the Bahraini-US relationship as one rooted in historical friendship and sustained by strategic partnership. He highlighted achievements across development, investment, and parliamentary cooperation.

Moreover, he applauded the recent visit of Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the United States. That visit reinforced efforts to boost economic ties and deepen mutual understanding.

Bahraini-US relations strengthen through continued dialogue and coordination on various political and economic levels. The Chairman stated that the Shura Council is eager to maintain communication with the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

He also expressed interest in furthering parliamentary ties and exploring new legislative opportunities. Such efforts aim to support both nations’ progress and collective goals.

Ambassador Bundy expressed pride in Bahrain’s development and growth across sectors. He described his time in Bahrain as a rewarding experience filled with valuable cultural and diplomatic exchanges.

He highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to coexistence and tolerance. Bundy also emphasized the positive role of both countries in promoting regional peace and shared prosperity.
