Saudi Arabia Humanitarian Aid Supports Crisis-Hit Nations

The Saudi Arabia humanitarian aid program continues to deliver essential assistance to vulnerable communities in crisis-affected countries. Moreover, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provides food, training, and psychological support to help families rebuild their lives.

In Syria, the Saudi relief program provided 393 food parcels to displaced families relocating from As-Suwayda to Daraa Governorate. Furthermore, this effort assisted 393 families and guaranteed access to essential nutrition and supplies for their daily needs.

In Sudan’s Sennar State, the Saudi relief initiative delivered 1,440 food parcels to displaced families in East Sennar. Consequently, 9,974 people benefited from this support. Moreover, the project works to ease hunger and enhance living conditions for vulnerable communities.

Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province also received support under the Saudi Arabia humanitarian aid program. KSrelief delivered 135 food packages to Afghan returnees from Pakistan at Omari Camp near the Torkham border. Consequently, this assistance helped families resettle and meet immediate nutritional needs.

In Wadi Khaled, Lebanon, the Saudi relief operations distributed 752 food packages to more than 3,700 displaced Syrians and host families. Furthermore, this initiative offered stability and much-needed relief to both refugees and local communities struggling with economic hardship.

Yemen benefited significantly from the Saudi Arabia humanitarian aid activities. In Salh District of Taiz Governorate, KSrelief distributed 1,350 cartons of dates. This formed part of the 2025–2026 date distribution project, offering families a consistent and nutritious food source.

Beyond food assistance, the Saudi Arabia humanitarian aid program implemented a technical training course in Aden, Yemen. The focus was on air conditioning maintenance. In addition, twenty beneficiaries attended workshops to gain practical skills. As a result, the training boosted job opportunities and supported integration into the labor market.

KSrelief also extended the Saudi Arabia humanitarian aid mission to address mental health needs. In Aden, 333 people received psychological support through counseling sessions and specialized training. Furthermore, these activities promoted mental well-being and reduced the emotional strain caused by crises.

By combining food aid, technical training, and psychological support, the Saudi Arabia humanitarian aid strategy demonstrates a holistic approach to relief. Ultimately, the coordinated efforts across Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Yemen reflect a strong commitment to improving vulnerable lives.
