The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, through its Department of Da’wah and Religious Guidance, has opened registration for its morning Qur’anic sessions. These sessions will take place at several centers across the country during the summer vacation. Parents can register their children by Thursday, July 17, 2025.
The Ministry aims to make the most of the summer break by fostering religious and educational development among young children. The morning Qur’anic sessions target boys aged five years and older. It will teach foundational Arabic reading (Hijaiyyah), offer Qur’an revision, and provide educational activities that promote Islamic values and positive behavior.
Classes will start on Sunday, July 20, 2025, and continue through the end of the month. The Ministry will offer morning Qur’anic sessions at 14 centers across the country to reach as many children as possible. This initiative allows children to receive religious education during the summer.
The program will operate four days a week, from Sunday to Wednesday, with classes running from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This schedule balances learning with free time, giving children the opportunity to enjoy both education and summer activities. Parents can select the center most convenient for their children.
This initiative forms part of the Ministry’s broader effort to instill strong Islamic values in the younger generation. The morning Qur’anic sessions will help children deepen their understanding of the Qur’an while nurturing good character and behavior based on Islamic principles.
Parents should register their children as soon as possible to secure a spot in the sessions. These morning Qur’anic sessions offer an educational opportunity for children to gain valuable Qur’anic knowledge and learn how to live according to Islamic teachings in their daily lives.
