Emirates Airbus A350 Launches Daily Muscat Flights

The Emirates Airbus A350 has officially started daily flights between Dubai and Muscat, enhancing the travel experience for passengers. Emirates advanced the launch by one week, making the aircraft a regular sight at Muscat International Airport.

Flight EK 866 departs Dubai at 2:15 am and lands in Muscat at 3:30 am. The return flight, EK 867, leaves Muscat at 4:40 am and arrives in Dubai at 5:55 am. These times support seamless connections to Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

The aircraft features a three-class configuration. It includes 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout. It also offers 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 setup and 259 Economy seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. Emirates designed the cabin with higher ceilings and wider aisles for extra comfort.

Passengers enjoy upgraded cabin lighting, modern seat ergonomics, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Emirates also provides its latest entertainment system onboard, creating a more immersive viewing experience.

The Emirates Airbus A350 adds another milestone in the airline’s investment in Oman. Muscat is one of the first cities in the region to welcome this new aircraft. The A350 already serves other regional cities like Kuwait, Bahrain, and Dammam. It also flies to destinations such as Edinburgh, Mumbai, and Tunis.

So far, Emirates has added seven Airbus A350 aircraft to its growing fleet. These new additions, therefore, reflect the airline’s continued investment in expanding its next-generation offerings. Moreover, Emirates plans to steadily increase the A350’s presence across its global network. By the end of the year, the airline expects the Emirates Airbus A350 to serve 17 destinations, including key cities in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

As a result, this expansion supports Emirates’ goal of providing passengers with more consistent comfort, faster connectivity, and enhanced onboard experiences on both short and medium-haul routes.

To meet summer travel demand, Emirates introduced two more weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight EK 862 leaves Dubai at 7:55 am and arrives in Muscat at 9:05 am. Flight EK 863 departs Muscat at 11:25 am and reaches Dubai at 12:30 pm.

Travelers can book tickets on emirates.com, through the Emirates App, at retail outlets, or with travel agents.
