Oman Welcomes New UAE and Senegal Ambassadors

Oman welcomes new UAE and Senegal ambassadors,Oman took a significant step to strengthen its international relations. On Sunday, Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy received the credentials of Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, the Ambassador-designate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Oman. This ceremony underscores the enduring partnership between the two Gulf nations. 

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr expressed his best wishes to Ambassador Al Maktoum for a successful tenure. He emphasized the importance of further developing the bilateral relations between Oman and the UAE. Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi attended the session, Head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry, along with several other officials.  

In a separate engagement, Sayyid Badr also received the credentials of Ibrahima Seck, the Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Senegal to Oman. He conveyed his hopes for a fruitful tenure and the advancement of ties between the two countries. Saleh bin Mohammed al Saqri, Head of the Africa Department, and Najeeb bin Yahya al Balushi, Head of the Protocols Department, joined the meeting with other officials  

Oman welcomes new UAE and Senegal ambassadors at a time when regional and international cooperation is paramount. Officials expect these diplomatic appointments to enhance collaboration in various sectors, including trade, education, and cultural exchange. 

The UAE and Oman share deep-rooted historical and cultural ties, often collaborating on initiatives that benefit both nations. Observers anticipate that Ambassador Al Maktoum’s appointment will further solidify this relationship.

Similarly, Senegal and Oman have enjoyed cordial relations, with mutual interests in areas such as maritime cooperation and investment. Ambassador Seck’s tenure is expected to open new avenues for bilateral engagement. 

Oman welcomes new UAE and Senegal ambassadors, reflecting its commitment to fostering strong diplomatic relations. The Foreign Ministry continues to prioritize international partnerships that align with the nation’s strategic interests.
