Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, opened the conference.

The conference explored the latest developments in pharmacy, medicine, and medical technology. Experts held over 40 lectures and workshops. They discussed topics like artificial intelligence, pharmaceutical supply chains, health economics, and the role of medicines in health insurance programs. Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa highlighted the importance of such events. He pointed out that these gatherings allow healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and best practices. Moreover, he emphasized that Bahrain is committed to advancing its healthcare system, under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
