Held on May 3 to celebrate the 19th International Female Ride Day, the event attracted more than 60 women bikers. These riders represented over 35 different nationalities, showcasing empowerment, unity, diversity, and horsepower.
The nearly 70-kilometre route began at Last Exit DXB Bound, continuing all the way to The Farm in Al Barari. The scenic route was carefully planned by Hafida Drici, a Dubai-based homemaker and one of three lead coordinators.
“The energy was incredible,” shared Sara Barakat, another coordinator from Dubai’s hospitality sector. She added, “Women riders from all walks of life came together to show what unity and sisterhood look like on two wheels.”
This year, the UAE event took an inspiring new direction. For the first time, the ride coordinated simultaneously with similar events in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Jordan. This became possible due to efforts from the UAE coordinators, who partnered with regional groups like SisterhoodMC KSA, Bahrain Ladies Motorcycle, Hawks MC Egypt, and HOG Jordan.
In total, more than 140 women riders participated in this synchronised celebration across the region. The day ended with a virtual meet-up connecting riders and showcasing unity and camaraderie, transcending national boundaries.
Videos from the ride are now available online, allowing everyone to catch the empowering action and vibrant energy of the event.
