UAE’s Industrial Future Ignites: Khalifa Fund SME Support Takes Center Stage at ‘Make it in the Emirates’ Forum

The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KFED) is ready to steal the spotlight at this year’s ‘Make it in the Emirates’ forum. From May 19 to 22, the event will take place at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Khalifa Fund SME support will drive conversations on innovation and entrepreneurship.

More than 15 ventures supported by the Khalifa Fund will showcase solutions across tech, manufacturing, food, trade, and hospitality. These ventures reflect the UAE’s ambitious goal to boost local industry and drive the Falcon Economy.

Throughout the four-day event, KFED will sign three key strategic agreements. These include one with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) and another agreement. The partnership with the ‘Make’ platform aims to launch a Light Manufacturing Accelerator Program for prototype development.

In addition, KFED will reveal several strategic programs under its broader Khalifa Fund SME support vision. These include the Abu Dhabi SME Champions Program, which connects startups with large-scale buyers. The SME Export Enablement Program is designed to boost global competitiveness.

To strengthen its innovation push, KFED will sign an agreement with Khalifa University. This partnership will support students, entrepreneurs, and researchers by providing essential tools, funding, and mentorship. Together, they aim to turn ideas into viable ventures within an integrated ecosystem.

Mouza Al Nasri, Acting CEO of KFED, said: “We remain dedicated to empowering national entrepreneurs. We are promoting Khalifa Fund SME support across priority industries.”

The forum will also spotlight opportunities in food tech, aviation, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, Industry 4.0, sustainability, and future energy.
