UAE and Qatar Ties Strengthened During Doha Meeting

UAE-Qatar ties gained fresh momentum when President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha. The leaders held talks at the Amiri Diwan during the president’s fraternal visit.

The discussion centered on bilateral cooperation and the regional impact of the recent Israeli attack on Qatari territory. Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Qatar and pledged full support for steps that protect sovereignty and safeguard citizens.

He condemned the attack, describing it as a direct violation of international law and Qatari territorial integrity. Furthermore, he warned that such actions endanger peace, stability, and regional security. He added that the international community must confront any threat undermining state sovereignty.

At the same time, Sheikh Mohamed praised Emir Sheikh Tamim’s continued efforts to strengthen peace and security in the Gulf and beyond. The leaders also exchanged views on ways to bolster regional stability and expand cooperation between the two nations.

UAE Qatar ties have witnessed growth in recent years, and the meeting in Doha highlighted the importance of coordination. Both sides emphasized the need to address shared challenges while building trust for the future.

The president traveled to Qatar with a high-level delegation of ministers and senior officials.
