UAE Aid Shipment Reaches Gaza via Ashdod Port

A UAE aid shipment arrived at Israel’s Ashdod Port, bringing essential relief supplies to civilians in Gaza. This humanitarian delivery forms part of the UAE’s ongoing Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The UAE aid shipment carried 2,500 tonnes of critical supplies intended for displaced and suffering families.

Officials confirmed that the shipment included food packages with flour, dates, milk, and tea. These goods are urgently needed due to widespread shortages. The UAE continues to respond to the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza with rapid logistical efforts.

The aid, loaded in Dubai, departed earlier this week and reached Ashdod Port smoothly. Authorities will transport it onward to Gaza for distribution. The UAE aid shipment directly supports people facing hunger, thirst, and lack of medical supplies.

WAM, the state news agency, reported that the mission aims to ease suffering and restore dignity to displaced families. The situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate, with famine and disease threatening thousands of lives.

The UAE launched Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in 2023 under the direction of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. Since then, the country has organized a massive humanitarian response involving multiple channels. These include air, land, and sea transport.

According to officials, the UAE has delivered over 55,000 tonnes of aid through more than 500 flights, six ships, and 2,500 trucks. These deliveries reach hospitals, shelters, and isolated communities throughout the Gaza Strip.

In addition, the UAE operates Birds of Goodness, an air-drop campaign that reaches inaccessible areas. So far, this campaign has delivered 3,700 tonnes of relief by parachute. These supplies target zones that remain cut off due to conflict and road damage.

Humanitarian agencies, including Emirates Red Crescent, coordinate closely with local authorities to distribute the aid efficiently. The UAE works with regional partners to ensure timely arrival of each shipment.

This latest UAE aid shipment highlights the nation’s long-term commitment to global humanitarian efforts. By acting quickly and strategically, the UAE continues to provide life-saving help where it is needed most.
