Tamkeen Enhances Employment Opportunities for Bahrainis at Ibn Al Nafees Hospital

The Labor Fund “Tamkeen” continues its efforts to support Bahrain’s national workforce. Recently, it announced significant investments in Ibn Al Nafees Hospital. Tamkeen will help raise the wages of 55 Bahraini employees and recruit 34 more Bahrainis across various roles in the hospital. This is an important step in strengthening Bahrain’s private sector and expanding its local talent pool.

This initiative aligns with Tamkeen’s vision for 2025. The goal is to enhance the position of Bahrainis in the workforce. By providing the right skills, Tamkeen ensures Bahrainis stay competitive in the local job market. Additionally, Tamkeen focuses on growing, digitizing, and ensuring sustainability within Bahrain’s private sector.

Mr. Khalid Al Bayat, Chief Growth Officer at Tamkeen, explained that supporting the recruitment and career development of Bahrainis is a priority. He said, “The healthcare sector in Bahrain offers many opportunities. This initiative will allow more Bahrainis to take on key roles, contributing to sector growth.” Tamkeen’s investment at Ibn Al Nafees Hospital responds to the growing demand for skilled Bahraini professionals, especially in essential sectors like healthcare.

Ibn Al Nafees Hospital, founded in 2001, is one of Bahrain’s top healthcare providers. It offers over 28 medical specialties. The hospital plays a key role in Bahrain’s healthcare system. Its commitment to increasing the Bahrainization rate among staff reflects its belief in local talent. Mr. Mohammed Al Ali, Director of Human Resources at the hospital, shared that Tamkeen’s support will help hire and promote more Bahrainis. This will further strengthen the country’s healthcare workforce.

Tamkeen’s support for Bahrain’s private sector has been highly successful. The organization has introduced a range of programs to nurture local talent. These initiatives allow Bahrainis to secure meaningful employment in various industries. Moreover, they contribute to a skilled workforce, which is essential for Bahrain’s economic growth.

The partnership between Tamkeen and Ibn Al Nafees Hospital reflects Bahrain’s commitment to workforce development. It highlights the country’s focus on creating long-term, sustainable job opportunities for Bahrainis in key sectors. This initiative will ensure that Bahrainis remain at the forefront of the nation’s economic progress.
