A surprise security campaign conducted by the Ahmadi Security Directorate in the Port of Mina Abdullah area led to the issuance of 45 traffic violations and several arrests. The operation was carried out in response to the directives of Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. He emphasized the importance of heightened security measures in areas with high concentrations of workers.
The campaign, which was led by the commander of the Port of Mina Abdullah area, targeted both traffic violations and other illegal activities. According to a security source, 19 individuals were arrested for lack of proper identification. Among them were a street vendor, an absentee, and two people found in an abnormal condition.
In addition to the arrests, the campaign also resulted in the seizure of a vehicle that violated traffic laws. Another vehicle, wanted for judicial seizure, was also confiscated. The arrested individuals have been referred to the appropriate authorities for further legal action.
This surprise security sweep reflects ongoing efforts to maintain order and uphold the rule of law in Kuwait’s busy areas. These measures ensure the safety and security of the public.
