Shura Council Speaker Meets French Senate Delegation to Discuss Bilateral Parliamentary Ties

Speaker of the Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, held a meeting on Tuesday with a visiting delegation from the French Senate. The delegation was headed by Olivier Cadic, President of the France-Gulf States Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group.

The two sides reviewed the strong parliamentary relations between the State of Qatar and the French Republic. They also explored ways to further enhance and develop cooperation between the legislative bodies of both nations.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening mutual dialogue and coordination on issues of shared interest. This reflected the growing ties between the Qatari Shura Council and its counterparts in the French Senate. (QNA)
