Sayyid Asaad Bids Farewell to Ambassadors in Muscat

MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, received three ambassadors on Tuesday. He met Jota Yamamoto, the Japanese Ambassador to Oman, Amit Narang, the Indian Ambassador to Oman, and Keijoo Kim, the South Korean Ambassador to Oman.

These meetings were held in Sayyid Asaad’s office, where he bid farewell to the ambassadors at the end of their missions in the Sultanate. The meetings took place on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

Throughout the meetings, Sayyid Asaad expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the ambassadors’ work. He highlighted the strong diplomatic relations shared by Oman and each of their countries.

The farewell meetings also focused on the progress made in bilateral ties between Oman and Japan, India, and South Korea. The diplomats worked closely with Oman in strengthening cultural, economic, and political collaboration during their tenure.

Sayyid Asaad also emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Oman and the three countries. He expressed hope for further growth in relations and for maintaining mutual respect and understanding.

The ambassadors conveyed their thanks for the cooperation extended to them during their assignments in Oman. They also highlighted the significant role Oman plays in fostering peaceful international relations in the region.

At the end of the meetings, the ambassadors reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to deepening ties with Oman, especially in trade, tourism, and education. They expressed their wishes for continued success in strengthening Oman’s global position.
