The Saudi Embassy in China has urged citizens planning to travel to the country to complete the required digital arrival card before departure, as part of measures aimed at easing entry procedures at Chinese ports.
In a statement, the embassy advised travellers to ensure all information is filled in accurately and to follow instructions issued by Chinese authorities to avoid delays upon arrival.
The notice comes as travel between Saudi Arabia and China continues to expand following Beijing’s decision to extend visa-free entry for Saudi nationals until the end of 2026.
Under the arrangement, Saudi citizens can enter China without obtaining a visa in advance, subject to certain conditions set by Chinese authorities. The move is part of broader efforts to strengthen economic, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries.
The advisory is also expected to assist Gulf travellers heading to China during the busy summer travel season, as regional demand for business and leisure travel to East Asia continues to grow.
