Saudi Arabia Enforces Strict Rules for Hajj Service Providers

Saudi Arabia has issued a strong warning to Hajj service providers, emphasizing that maintaining high standards is a top priority. Authorities have made it clear that any negligence will lead to strict consequences for those who fail to meet expectations.

Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah, has underscored the importance of following strict guidelines. He stated that both local and international providers must ensure a seamless pilgrimage experience. Any shortcomings in service quality could result in severe penalties, including heavy fines or permanent license revocation.

Speaking at a meeting with Hajj service companies in Mecca, Al Rabiah commended the Supreme Hajj Committee for its dedication. He acknowledged the efforts of companies providing high-quality services but stressed that violations would not be tolerated.

Authorities expect excellence in all aspects of the pilgrimage, including smooth transportation, comfortable accommodations, quality food, and efficient logistics. The government has reinforced strict supervision to ensure these standards are upheld.

Companies that deliver outstanding services will be recognized, while those that fail to meet requirements will face consequences. Strict schedules must be followed to ensure smooth movement between holy sites. Additionally, pilgrims must receive proper guidance before and during their journey to enhance their experience.

Officials have also urged service providers to support the “No Hajj Without a Permit” campaign, which aims to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing holy sites. Inspection teams will begin monitoring compliance from Shawwal 10 to ensure service quality remains at the highest level.
