Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel’s recent attack on Syria, which resulted in the deaths of several civilians. The Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday expressing the Kingdom’s firm rejection of Israel’s ongoing violations of international laws. These actions are seen as undermining the security and stability of Syria and the broader region.
According to Syrian authorities, the attack targeted the village of Kuwayya in southern Daraa province, where at least six civilians were killed. The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as a dangerous escalation of Israeli aggression on Syrian territory, marking another violent incident in the ongoing conflict.
The Israeli airstrikes on Syria have continued despite the major political changes in the country. Last year, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime collapsed after a swift rebel advance, which forced him to flee to Russia. However, Israel’s bombing campaign has persisted, further complicating the region’s security situation.
This attack has heightened tensions in the region, and Saudi Arabia’s condemnation reflects the Kingdom’s broader stance on the need for international law and regional stability. Saudi Arabia has consistently called for an end to the Israeli occupation and its military actions that exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Syria.
