Saudi Arabia Announces Four-Day Eid Al Fitr Break for Private Sector Workers

Saudi Arabia has officially announced a four-day holiday for employees in the private and non-profit sectors to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. This break gives workers the opportunity to enjoy quality time with their families and loved ones as Ramadan comes to a close.

The Eid holiday will begin on Sunday, March 30, and run until Wednesday, April 2. Employees are expected to return to work on Thursday, April 3. The extended holiday allows people to relax, visit relatives, and engage in traditional celebrations.

Authorities have stressed the importance of employers adhering to labor laws during public holidays. Companies are required to ensure employees receive the full holiday benefits as specified in the regulations, guaranteeing workers enjoy their well-deserved time off.
