QNB Champions Youth Empowerment in Engineering as Gold Sponsor at QU Forum

QNB reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment in engineering by serving as the Gold Sponsor of the Creativity & Innovation for Engineering Solutions Development Forum. This event was hosted by Qatar University’s College of Engineering and organized in collaboration with Technology Innovation and Engineering Education (TIEEE).

The forum brought together students, educators, and innovators from across Qatar. It offered them a platform to present their projects and showcase their innovative ideas. Students displayed prototypes, research posters, and technical demonstrations that had strong potential for real-world applications. This emphasized the importance of youth empowerment in engineering for Qatar’s future.

A panel of industry experts and academic professionals evaluated the submissions. They selected the winners for the College of Engineering Best Technology Innovation Awards. These awards highlighted the most groundbreaking projects from young engineers.

Heba Al Tamimi, Senior Executive Vice President of QNB Group Communications, commented: “We are proud to support initiatives that foster innovation and invest in young talent. This event celebrates engineering excellence and aligns with our mission to drive sustainable development through education and technology.”

QNB’s support goes beyond sponsorship. It is part of a broader commitment to help develop Qatar’s economy. By supporting this forum, QNB plays a key role in shaping the future of engineering education and industry. Their involvement helps bridge the gap between academia and practical application.

This event further demonstrated the importance of youth empowerment in engineering. It encourages young engineers to think creatively and pursue bold ideas that can shape Qatar’s future.
