QIC App Wins Global Finance’s ‘Innovators’ Award for 2025

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has earned international recognition after its QIC App was named one of the top financial innovations in the Middle East. This honor was given by Global Finance magazine during the 2025 edition of its annual Innovators Awards.

The awards spotlight institutions worldwide that deliver groundbreaking solutions and transformative digital experiences across the financial services sector.

QIC’s all-in-one mobile application was praised for reshaping customer interaction in the insurance industry. It offers users streamlined access to both insurance and non-insurance services.

Commenting on the award, Salem Al Mannai, Group CEO of QIC, said the recognition underscores the company’s leadership in digital transformation within the regional financial landscape. “The QIC App enables our customers to better understand their insurance needs. It also allows them to access innovative tools that enable them to live, drive, and travel with confidence,” he said.

He added that QIC’s commitment to innovation is rooted in a customer-first approach: “We remain focused on delivering upgraded digital experiences and ensuring financial well-being for every customer. Our goal is to evolve the QIC App into a comprehensive digital ecosystem. This will enhance daily life in Qatar.”

Described as the country’s first platform of its kind, the QIC App integrates a wide range of services. It positions itself as a one-stop hub for managing everyday needs while ensuring safety and convenience.

Global Finance magazine’s readership includes senior decision-makers at corporations and financial institutions in over 180 countries. This makes the recognition a significant milestone in QIC’s journey toward global digital excellence.
