Leaders highlighted the UN resolution from December 2024, which urged an immediate and lasting Gaza ceasefire. They stressed the importance of allowing UNRWA to operate fully and deliver essential services to refugees.
The group also pledged to support peace, stability, and mutual cooperation based on international law and respect for sovereignty. They agreed to deepen ties between the GCC, ASEAN, and China, especially in trade and economic growth across Asia and the Middle East.
The summit emphasized trust in the global trade system and the need to strengthen resilience, protect the environment, and promote fair globalization. It also praised efforts to build a shared future and fight transnational threats, including terrorism and cybercrime.
