The Medical Unit of the Qatari Hajj Mission announced its full preparedness to provide exceptional healthcare services to pilgrims from Qatar throughout the 2025 Hajj season. This mission operates in close coordination with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), and the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC).
Dr. Khalid Abdul Hadi, Head of the Qatari Hajj Medical Unit, confirmed that Qatar is mobilizing all necessary resources and skilled personnel to ensure the health and safety of pilgrims from their departure until their return. To deliver these services effectively, the medical unit operates 24/7. It employs highly trained professionals, including specialists in family medicine, emergency care, epidemic response, and pharmacy. Moreover, Dr. Hadi noted that the unit has established fully equipped male and female clinics in key locations. These include Makkah Al Mukarramah and the holy sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. The facilities also contain isolation wards, inpatient units, and observation rooms to handle urgent health cases swiftly and efficiently.
