As part of an official visit to the United States, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, held several high-level meetings aimed at enhancing Qatar-US trade relations.
A key meeting took place at the headquarters of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) in Washington, DC. Dr. Al-Sayed met with Jamison Greer, the USTR Representative, where both sides reviewed ongoing trade and investment cooperation. Notably, they explored strategic opportunities to expand bilateral economic ties and build on recent momentum in joint economic initiatives.
Furthermore, the Qatari delegation, led by Dr. Al-Sayed, held multiple discussions with senior officials from the US Department of Commerce. These talks centered on developing new frameworks to support innovation, digital trade, and logistics collaboration between the two countries.
In addition to governmental engagements, the delegation also met with executives from leading American technology firms. These sessions focused on fostering partnerships in sectors such as digital transformation, sustainable development, and smart infrastructure.
