Qatar University Accepting Fall 2025 Applications Online Until July 9

Qatar University (QU) has announced that online admission applications for the Fall 2025 semester will remain open until July 9. The university confirmed that final admission decisions will be released on August 4.

According to an official statement, admission is open for several colleges, each with specific GPA requirements. Applicants need a minimum of 70% to apply for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Business and Economics, Law, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Education, Health Sciences, Nursing, and Sports Sciences.

However, higher GPA thresholds apply for other colleges. The College of Medicine and the College of Dentistry require at least 85%, while the College of Pharmacy requires 80% for eligibility.

QU clarified that meeting the minimum GPA requirement does not guarantee admission, especially for first-choice programs. Instead, selection is based on competitive merit and the available capacity in each college.

Moreover, the university emphasized that it takes the student’s educational track in high school into consideration. This ensures that applicants are matched with suitable programs based on both academic preparation and college availability.

The university strongly encourages applicants to submit their forms early and upload all required documents before the deadline.

Qatar University continues to streamline its admissions process to improve accessibility and transparency. As the deadline approaches, applicants are urged to act quickly to secure their place in the country’s top academic institution.
