Qatar, UN Discuss Efforts to Ensure Humanitarian Aid Reaches Gaza

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met with United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher in Doha on Sunday.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Qatar and the UN. Additionally, they addressed key regional developments. They particularly focused on the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Prime Minister stressed the urgent need for coordinated regional and international efforts. Specifically, to guarantee the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza. He emphasized Qatar’s commitment to supporting relief efforts and ensuring that essential supplies reach those in need.

Both sides reaffirmed their dedication to addressing the humanitarian situation. They are working towards sustainable solutions for those affected by the ongoing crisis.
