Qatar Strengthens Qatar-China Economic Cooperation with ICBC

Qatar Chamber continues to build strong international business ties. Recently, it welcomed senior leaders from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). The meeting focused on growing Qatar-China economic cooperation and developing more business opportunities.

To begin with, Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber, Ali Bu Sharabak Al-Mansori, met with Guo Hao, Deputy General Manager of ICBC’s Doha branch. They discussed new ways to boost trade, attract investments, and connect private sectors in both countries.

At the meeting, Al-Mansori praised the friendly and productive relationship between Qatar and China. He stressed that China remains one of Qatar’s most important trade partners. Additionally, he highlighted how closely Qatari and Chinese businesses already work together.

Moreover, Al-Mansori encouraged Chinese companies to explore new projects in Qatar’s growing industrial sector. He also pointed out Qatar’s advanced infrastructure, strong legal framework, and stable economy. These, combined with attractive investment incentives, make Qatar a top destination for foreign businesses.

As a result, Qatar-China economic cooperation continues to expand. Al-Mansori affirmed that Qatar Chamber fully supports strong and lasting partnerships between Qatari and Chinese firms. In fact, he invited more Chinese companies to enter the Qatari market and take advantage of its many growth areas.

In response, Guo Hao spoke about ICBC’s key role in the Chinese Business Council in Qatar. He emphasized the bank’s commitment to helping Chinese businesses establish roots in the country. Furthermore, he showed strong interest in working hand in hand with Qatar Chamber.

In addition, Guo Hao noted the rising number of Chinese firms now active in Qatar. He believes that continued Qatar-China economic cooperation will open new doors in trade, investment, and private-sector collaboration. He also confirmed that ICBC stands ready to support these developments.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to keep the dialogue going. They also promised to hold more joint sessions to share ideas, explore new markets, and create valuable opportunities. These steps aim to ensure long-term success and steady economic progress.

Clearly, Qatar places great importance on growing its global partnerships. Through deeper connections with key partners like China, Qatar continues to improve its business environment. Together, Qatar Chamber and ICBC plan to drive real results for businesses in both nations.
