Qatar Saudi Trade Cooperation Grows Stronger

Qatar Chamber welcomed a Saudi trade delegation that represented the Saudi Export Development Authority. The group was led by Saud Al Qablan, Vice President for Services Exports. Eng. Ali bin Abdullatif Al-Misnad, Qatar Chamber board member, greeted the delegation along with Qatari businessmen and other members.

During the meeting, Al-Misnad highlighted the strong commitment to building closer trade ties. Both countries share fraternal relations that continue to strengthen. Leaders in Qatar and Saudi Arabia guide this progress wisely and encourage more economic growth.

Trade exchange between the two nations has shown remarkable progress. The value increased from QR2.97bn in 2023 to QR4.88bn in 2024. This 65 percent rise signals strong potential for even greater expansion in the years ahead.

Al-Misnad also emphasized Qatar Chamber’s determination to support investors and business owners. The Chamber works to provide facilities that help partnerships succeed. He urged companies to explore opportunities in non-oil sectors that support sustainable growth. These sectors align with Qatar National Vision 2030 as well as Saudi Vision 2030.

On the other hand, Saud Al Qablan praised the strength of Saudi-Qatari relations. The Saudi delegation included 26 companies covering six different sectors. These areas ranged from construction, transportation, and logistics to ICT, health, education, and consulting. Companies in the group showed eagerness to invest in Qatar and work closely with the Qatari private sector.

Furthermore, Al Qablan explained that Saudi companies aim to exchange expertise and expand trade. This effort will allow stronger partnerships and greater benefits for both sides. Qatar Saudi trade cooperation grows stronger with every new step.

Additionally, Dr. Mohamed bin Jawhar Al-Mohamed, another Qatar Chamber board member, stressed the need for deeper Gulf economic integration. He underlined that the private sector can drive cooperation and strengthen ties across the GCC.

Moreover, board member Abdulrahman Al-Ansari described many chances for collaboration in major sectors. He pointed out that the Saudi firms in the delegation bring solid experience that fits the needs of the Qatari market. That expertise creates a clear path for alliances and successful joint projects.

In conclusion, the event highlighted that Qatar Saudi trade cooperation grows stronger through dialogue and shared goals. Leaders, businessmen, and company representatives agreed to focus on investment opportunities. Together they aim to build connections that benefit both nations and the wider region.
