Qatar, Kuwait Discuss Boosting Financial Cooperation

Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met with Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment HE Eng. Nora Suleiman Al-Fassam on the sidelines of the joint annual meetings of Arab financial institutions, currently taking place in Kuwait City.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the strength of the historic ties between Qatar and Kuwait. They discussed strategies to further develop bilateral cooperation, with a strong focus on expanding partnerships in the fields of investment, finance, and economic development.

The ministers explored potential areas for joint initiatives that could contribute to sustainable growth and enhance the competitiveness of both economies. They also reviewed ongoing regional economic developments and the importance of coordination between Gulf states to address shared challenges and support financial stability.
