Qatar Endowment Initiative Expands with New Residential Property Donation

The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has welcomed a significant new donation. A generous citizen donated a residential building in Madinat Khalifa to support the Qatar Endowment Initiative, which aims to build sustainable charitable assets.

This new building will contribute to the “Endowment of Endowments” program, a core component of the Endowment Fund for Righteousness and Piety. As a result, the donation will generate yearly income that funds new endowments. Within the scope of the Qatar Endowment Initiative, this model ensures ongoing expansion of charitable impact.

According to the official deed, the donor clearly stated that the property’s full proceeds should support future endowments. Consequently, this guarantees that the original gift will multiply in value and benefit over time, aligning with the broader goals of the endowment initiative.

Director Engineer Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Marzooqi praised this initiative. He noted that such contributions reflect strategic thinking and a deep understanding of sustainable charity. Moreover, the donation aligns with national efforts to promote social development and community resilience, further supporting the Qatar Endowment Initiative.

Furthermore, the donation process followed strict procedures. The Directorate drafted the legal deed, verified the donor’s intent, and assumed full responsibility for the property’s supervision. Therefore, transparency and trust remained central throughout the process, essential for initiatives like Qatar Endowment.

In addition, the proceeds from the building will fund key sectors such as education, public health, and religious services. This targeted support strengthens Qatar’s vision for an inclusive and well-supported society, a principle of the Qatar Endowment Initiative.

The Qatar Endowment Initiative does more than accept donations. It creates a system where every contribution leads to future opportunities. As such, each new endowment builds on the last, increasing the total impact year by year.

Notably, this model encourages a broader culture of giving. Citizens can contribute in ways that extend their values far beyond the present. With proper management and clear accountability, they trust their donations will make a difference, reflecting the initiative’s purpose.

Lastly, the General Directorate of Endowments encourages more community members to participate. By supporting the Qatar Endowment Initiative, individuals help secure a lasting legacy of generosity and national unity.
