Qatar-AU Relations Deepen as Leaders Discuss Peace and Regional Stability

Qatar continues strengthening its global partnerships. On Saturday, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met with Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission. This was an important milestone in Qatar-AU relations, fostering positive interactions between Qatar and AU, and occurred during Youssouf’s official visit to Doha.

The two leaders discussed ways to deepen Qatar-AU relations. They emphasized the importance of strong cooperation between Qatar and the African Union. Moreover, they reviewed recent developments across the African continent.
