Qatar Airbase Attack Condemned as Violation of Sovereignty and International Law

The Shura Council condemns the recent Qatar air base attack launched by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Al-Udeid Air Base earlier this week. The attack was labeled a “clear violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty and international law during the Council Office’s meeting, chaired by Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.

Qatar condemns air base attack launched by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. The Council described the strike as a serious breach of Qatar’s airspace and national sovereignty. Council members stressed that the attack clearly violated international laws and the United Nations Charter. They also noted it contradicted the principles of good neighborliness.

The Council also welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel. It praised Qatar’s mediation efforts and continuous push for peaceful solutions. While tensions remain high, Qatar’s stance stays firm. The country supports dialogue, diplomacy, and respect for sovereignty.
