Prime Minister Invites Global Companies to Establish Branches in Kuwait

At the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai, Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah announced Kuwait’s invitation to international companies to open branches in the country, aiming to boost its economic growth.

In his speech at the summit, His Highness stated that discussions had been held with major global economic companies, urging them to play a more active role in Kuwait’s economic renaissance. He emphasized the importance of these companies establishing branches in Kuwait to contribute to the country’s growing economy.

The World Government Summit 2025, which commenced on Tuesday, is running under the theme “Foreseeing Future Governments”. The summit gathers official delegations and experts from around the world to foster cooperation and address global challenges, with a focus on innovation and sustainability for the future of governments.

Kuwait’s high-ranking official delegation at the summit, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, includes Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Noura Al-Fassam, and the President of the Civil Service Bureau, Dr. Essam Al-Rabian.

Now in its 12th edition, the World Government Summit has become a key platform for governments, international organizations, and experts to discuss trends in governance, development, and technology, while working toward a sustainable and prosperous future for all.
