PHCC Announces Ramadan Working Hours Across Qatar Health Centres

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced Ramadan working hours for all its health centres. The move ensures residents can access medical care conveniently during the holy month.

During Ramadan, PHCC will keep many centres open continuously. This guarantees accessible healthcare across Qatar. From Sunday to Thursday, 27 centres—including Al Wakra, Al Thumama, Airport, Al Sadd, West Bay, Muaither, Al Khor, and Qatar University—will operate from 9am to midnight for family medicine and support services. Dental services will run from 9am to 2pm, and again from 7pm to midnight.

Other centres follow split shifts. Al Karaana and Al Jumailiya will operate from 9am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm for family medicine and dental services. Al Kaaban and Leghwairiya will offer services only during the morning shift, from 9am to 2pm. These timings help PHCC manage staff while maintaining service coverage.

Weekend schedules vary. Centres such as Al Wakra, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, Leabaib, Al Wajbah, and Muaither will operate from 9am to midnight. Dental services run from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight. Certain centres—including South Wakra, Umm Ghuwailina, and Al Waab—will remain closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

PHCC has designated 14 centres to provide 24/7 emergency care. Some centres will treat adults and children, while others focus on adults only. Residents can also call the Community Call Center at 16000 for medical consultations anytime.

By announcing the Ramadan working hours, PHCC shows its commitment to continuous healthcare access. The initiative highlights the corporation’s focus on community health and public well-being during Ramadan.
