Oman Tourism Campaign Launches Summer Travel Deals

The Oman tourism campaign is underway as Omran Group partners with Visit Oman to promote local travel across the Sultanate. This summer initiative, titled “In Oman,” aims to encourage citizens and residents to explore diverse destinations without leaving the country.

Currently running through the end of August, the Oman tourism campaign offers exclusive hotel packages at Omran’s hospitality properties. Additionally, it includes curated tourism experiences in various governorates, ranging from outdoor adventures to cultural tours.

Meanwhile, Visit Oman, the national travel operator, has upgraded its platform to support the campaign. Travelers can now use digital tools to discover, plan, and book domestic trips more efficiently. Moreover, the platform highlights new destinations, making it easier for users to choose experiences suited to their interests.

According to Shabib bin Mohammed Al Maamari, General Manager of Visit Oman, the campaign is a major step in expanding the platform’s digital reach. He noted that the campaign enhances how travelers explore Oman by streamlining the planning process and promoting hidden gems.

Furthermore, the Oman tourism campaign highlights a growing collaboration between national tourism entities. Omran and Visit Oman share the goal of delivering a more connected and user-friendly tourism experience. Their partnership strengthens domestic tourism while boosting local businesses and regional economies.

In addition, travelers can expect special offers on accommodations in coastal resorts, mountain lodges, and desert camps. Many hotels are bundling overnight stays with outdoor experiences like hiking, sandboarding, or heritage site visits.

Moreover, the campaign also draws attention to lesser-known regions outside of Muscat. The campaign features destinations like Dhofar, Al Dakhiliyah, and Al Batinah to encourage wider exploration of the country.

In addition, this effort supports national goals for economic diversification and sustainable tourism. By promoting local travel, the campaign keeps tourism spending within the country while offering authentic Omani experiences.

As the Oman tourism campaign continues, it is expected to strengthen the travel ecosystem, connect more communities, and inspire residents to rediscover their own country.
